This is a feature release of Google Play Music Desktop Player

Here is a quick run down of all things that have changed.

  <li style="list-style-type: disc">NEW: Desktop Notifications are now native notifications on Windows 8</li>
  <li style="list-style-type: disc">FIX: The update notification always shows the buttons now</li>
  <li style="list-style-type: disc">FIX: I3 Window Manager now works with the Mini Player</li>
  <li style="list-style-type: disc">FIX: Startup JavaScript errors are gone for good</li>
  <li style="list-style-type: disc">FIX: If you have more than one Chromecast they all appear now</li>
  <li style="list-style-type: disc">FIX: Installing on Windows no longer trips AV warnings</li>

API Changes

  <li style="list-style-type: disc">BREAKING: Under the hood we have updated to gmusic.js v6</li>
  <li style="list-style-type: disc">BREAKING: The WebSocketAPI now refers to "songs" as "tracks"</li>
  <li style="list-style-type: disc">NEW: The WebSocketAPI now exposes a few more methods.  Check the docs</li>
