Alaska will begin compiling your project for submission to the GEO. All your reads and analysis results will be compressed into a single file that may be either downloaded to submit yourself, or submitted by Alaska. This may take a while depending on the number of samples you have. We'll send you an email when everything's ready.
Alaska will upload your project to the Gene Expression Omnibus. In order to do so, Alaska needs some of your GEO user information.
Alaska also needs your GEO FTP information. Please login to GEO and go to the Direct Deposit form. At the bottom of the form, click on the FTP instructions link to show instructions on how to upload via FTP (Don't worry, we'll do this for you!) Scroll down to the GEO FTP login information header. Please copy and paste the login information below.
An error occured while performing a step in the analysis. Please check the live output for more information. Most issues can be resolved by retrying the analysis, by clicking the redo icon next to the project status. If this happens again, please contact WormBase for assistance, with your project ID.

For all the examples, we are working with a project with 2 samples, with 4 read files each (for a total of 8 read files).
You will prepare 2 archives, one for each sample, containing all the reads for their corresponding sample. Here is what it would look like.
You will prepare 2 folders, one for each sample, containing all the reads for their corresponding sample. Here is what it would look like.

Reads can only be uploaded using an FTP service. Large files may be transferred through a server. If you are not familiar with FTP transfers, we recommend that you use an FTP client, such as Cyberduck.
When you reach this step, click the button below for details on how to upload.
This is the information you need to provide to your FTP service or client in order to transfer the files from your computer to WormBase.
Once we receive your reads, we can start the data analysis. Please click the button below ONLY once all your reads are uploaded.

Alaska requires at least two replicates for each perturbation, so a minimum of 4 samples are required. Please upload more samples and try again.
Alaska will infer some initial metadata from your samples once you press the button. This may take a few minutes.
