Just take a look in the Network library. There are several catalogues containing a multitude of books, some for free, some for a small fee. You can even add your own OPDS catalogues to the list.
Any of the books already saved to your device can be opened from the Library.
Want to copy your ebooks from a desktop to another device? Or maybe you want to store your downloaded books in a safe space? FBReader Book Network is a cloud storage service that uses Google Drive™. Enable synchronisation with the Book Network, and your book collection will be always available from any of your computers and mobile devices. Your books will be stored in your own space on Google Drive™. You can manage your collection from any browser.
Reading the same book on your mobile phone and tablet? Don't worry about looking up your page every time you switch devices. Enable FBReader synchronisation on both or all devices, and the program will open your last reading position automatically.
FBReader supports all popular text file formats. However, if you have a book in several formats, the best choice is ePub
, mobi
(a.k.a. azw3
or kindle
), or fb2
. Please keep in mind that FBReader is a free reader, and therefore does not open DRM-protected books. Non-text formats like PDF
or DjVu
are supported by FBReader plugins.
This introduction can't possibly describe all of FBReader's outstanding features. We've yet to mention the rich set of FBReader Settings, Calibre Integration, and other plugins like Reading Aloud by Hyperionics. For news about these features, details of our monthly updates, and more, please visit our site or follow us on social networks.
Please feel free to post your questions to us via social networks. There are a lot of active users waiting to help you, including the program creators. If you prefer to ask us anything privately, please send us an e-mail instead.
