As this is mail night I thought I would send you a line or two, if only on a postal—all I can do at present—Had a busy day, & week so far & every prospect of being busy. Weather dark, damp & foggy with very occasional blinks of sunshine—cheerless enough for most part. But we get along somehow. Hope things are better with you, & that you are freer from discomfort. I don't see much of JWW at present as he is working at Leigh nr Manchester. He is better again I believe. Hope Mrs. D. is better & Warry well.

With best love Yours always, J Johnston

[torn-away] Love to HLT. & apologies for not writing.
